kirzo

For parents and guardians

Know how your child is doing, without nagging

Get the Kirzo app and sign in with the phone number your child gave when they joined. You'll get a code by SMS, with no password to remember, and see a card for each child linked to your number.

What you see

  • Their streak, and the days and minutes they were active this week
  • XP, mastery in each subject and BECE readiness
  • Assignments from their teachers that are due or missed
  • Their school and class

Every week you get a short summary in the app, and an SMS when your child was active that week.

Give or withdraw consent

Under-18s sign up with your phone number, and nothing is final until you confirm the SMS code.

Switch Ananse off

You can turn the AI tutor off for your child. You see how often they use it, but never their chats.

Set the reminder time

Choose when your child gets their daily study reminder.

Delete the account

Delete your child's account and all its data at any time.

Questions parents ask

Does my child have to pay for anything?

No. Students never see a price, and every reward in Kirzo is earned, not bought. There are no ads.

Can my child chat with strangers?

No. There is no chat between students. Live duels use emoji reactions only, and teachers can only post one-way announcements.

Is the AI tutor safe?

Ananse is made with Claude by Anthropic and gives hints rather than answers. It can make mistakes, so students should check with their teacher. You can switch it off for your child.

Can two guardians follow the same child?

Yes. A child can have up to two guardians, and either can give consent and sign in.
